The Physical Cure: Why Exercise is a Superpower for Mental Health

When you move your body, you change your brain.

  • Cardio (like cycling, boxing or running) boosts mood by releasing endorphins and serotonin.
  • Weight training builds confidence, purpose, and stabilizes brain chemistry.
  • Both improve sleep quality, reduce stress hormones like cortisol, and help you feel in control.

In fact, some studies show regular exercise can be as effective as antidepressants for mild to moderate depression — without the side effects!

Personally, I’ve proven and re-proven thousands of times over, the powerful restorative impact that weights and cardio workouts have on your overall wellness and your mental health. That’s why I’m a number one advocate for the gym!

Now, for the next three months we’re excited to share with you that Club Physical will be donating weekly to support the wonderful organization, AnxietyNZ (https://anxiety.org.nz/). The organization actively and practically help New Zealanders suffering from ‘anxiety’. They have councilors available and accessible, based nearby in St Luke’s.

From July through to September 30th Club Physical will donate $5 to AnxietyNZ for every new paying member and also for every 5 Day Trial.
